Vitargo® ELECTROLYTE contains the unique patented carbohydrate Vitargo® and mineral additives. With Vitargo® ELECTROLYTE you will secure blood sugar levels and mineral balance during training/competition, restore the glycogen deposits, and maintain mineral and fluid balance after activity. Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function when used in conjunction with highly intensive or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue.
Carbohydrate-electrolyte solutions contribute to the maintenance of endurance performance during prolonged endurance exercise. They also enhance the absorption of water during physical exercise. Vitargo® ELECTROLYTE contains the mineral salts Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium.
Recommended dosage: 1,5 dl of powder (72 g) is mixed with 600 ml of water.
Before long races: Drink 2 portions daily the three final days before competition.
During long races: Drink 1 portion per hour during hard activity.
Before team sport activity: Drink 1 portion at night the day before activity.
During team sport activity: Drink 1 portion during warm-up and on-going game.
Before strength training: Drink 1 portion approx. 30 minutes before workout.
After strength training: Drink 1 portion immediately after finished workout, preferably in combination with protein.
